Discover our new profile wire at electronica 2022

Bobbins are inconspicuous but important components - the demands on the wire for contacting are manifold: form closure for electrical contact, groove structure (knurl) for anchoring in the coilformer and fixing of the coil wire. 

bedra has succeeded in mapping new structures in electronic wires through the further development of technologies. Inspired by the tentacles of an octopus, it was possible to design a surface that allows the greatest possible flexibility. The result is a new profile wire with an octopus structure.

The innovative structure ensures a secure hold and allows the use of thinner copper wires for winding. In the age of miniaturization, this leads to cost and space advantages.
