  • AlSi7 (4047): dense, pore-free seams

Overview of our berAlweld® aluminium welding wires

berAlweld® 1070

berAlweld® 1070 is characterized by its high aluminium content of 99.7% and its particularly good flow behavior. Suitable for electrical cables and thermal components.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 1450 (Al99.5Ti)

berAlweld® 1450 is characterized by its high aluminium content of 95.5% and its particularly good flow behavior. Suitable for electrical cables and thermal components, good resistance to nitro acids.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 4043

berAlweld® 4043 is the most common welding alloy in the 4000 series. A major alloying ingredient is silicon, which increases flowability. 4043 reduces sensitivity to hot cracking.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 4047

The high Si content of berAlweld® 4047 reduces the sensitivity to welding cracks and provides higher shear strength during fillet post-welding. The contained silicon brings a bright almost fume-free welding.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5087

berAlweld® 5087 impresses with its excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and is suitable for continuous operation at elevated temperatures up to 80°C. The contained chromium and zirconium reduce the susceptibility to welding cracks.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5183

berAlweld® 5183 impresses with its excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and is suitable for the highest requirements for high tensile strength.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5356

berAlweld® 5356 is the most common welding alloy of the 5000 series and convinces with excellent weldability and weld strength of 250N/mm².

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5554

berAlweld® 5554 impresses with its high corrosion resistance and is suitable for continuous operation at elevated temperatures of 65-160°C.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5754

berAlweld® 5754 impresses with its high corrosion resistance and very good color match for anodized parts.
