Tuft retention

Tuft retention

Tuft retention describes how securely individual bristle bundles are held in the brush body. It is a key quality factor in toothbrushes, fine brushes and other brush products.

Pull-out resistance depends on several factors: brush body material, bristles, stapling process, wire profile, wire strength and geometry. Reliable tuft retention is essential in high-quality toothbrush and fine brush applications.

bedra anchor wires are tailored to these requirements. With bercobrush®, bedra offers different profile types such as grooved versions, arrow and octopus, designed for high tuft retention and stable processing.
