TRIMPAC®

Trimpac®

TRIMPAC® is the latest patented coating technology from bedra, developed from the strengths of the wire generations cobracut®, broncocut®, and topas®. The name TRIMPAC® stands for "Triple Impact Sheath" and refers to a coating that combines three effects:

  1. The wire has a thin oxide layer that acts like a semiconductor, preventing misfiring and promoting cutting quality.
  2. The increased zinc content in the coating aids material removal and enhances wear resistance.
  3. The surface has a special structure that positively affects cutting performance and quality.

In summary, these effects result in wires with TRIMPAC® coating cutting significantly faster than those from previous generations.

The TRIMPAC® wire coating is featured in our new EDM high-performance wire generation gapstar® ONE.

Further information can be found on the gapstar® ONE product page.
