Spring contact

Spring contact

A spring contact is an electrical contact element that creates reliable contact force through elastic deformation. It is used in connectors, switches, sensors and other electromechanical assemblies.

Key requirements include electrical conductivity, spring behavior, strength, corrosion resistance, surface quality and dimensional accuracy. The wire or profile material must provide these properties reproducibly.

bedra develops and supplies precision wires and profiles for applications that combine electrical and mechanical requirements. Alloy and surface selection depend on contact function, processing and operating environment.
