Recrystallization

Recrystallization

Recrystallization is a metallurgical process in which the microstructure of a material is newly formed through nucleation and grain growth. During this process, lattice defects caused by prior plastic deformation are eliminated, typically leading to grain refinement and the restoration of mechanical properties. This process usually occurs during heat treatment and enhances the material's ductility.
