Multilayer wire

Multilayer wire

Multilayer wire is a wire with several functional surface layers. Each layer can perform a specific task, such as improving solderability, stabilizing contact behavior, limiting diffusion or supporting processing in automated production.

In the field of electronic wire, bedra uses different electroplating systems and coating variants to achieve consistently high surface quality. The spectrum ranges from simple pure tin coatings and nickel or copper barrier layers to multi-layer technology.

Multilayer wires are used wherever electrical, mechanical and processing requirements must be combined.

Typical application areas include connectors, bobbins, contact parts, the cable industry and other electronic components where reproducible quality and stable processing are essential.
