CuZn40

CuZn40 is a brass alloy containing approximately 60% copper and 40% zinc. It has higher strength than CuZn37 but offers lower cold formability. The alloy is well suited for hot forming and is commonly used for forged parts, valve components, and fittings. It provides good corrosion resistance in neutral environments.
