Contamination-free EDM

Contamination-free EDM

Contamination-free EDM refers to electrical discharge machining processes designed to minimize unwanted residues on the surface of the workpiece. This is particularly relevant for components with high requirements for cleanliness, surface quality and downstream processing.

In conventional wire EDM, residues from the wire electrode may occur depending on the wire type and machining strategy. For such requirements, bedra developed confreecut ONE.

This EDM wire is designed for contamination-free and fast machining while supporting high process reliability and low wire guide wear.

As a result, it is especially suitable for demanding production environments where component cleanliness, stable machining and economic efficiency must be considered together.
