Casting alloy

Casting alloy

A casting alloy is an alloy primarily intended for the production of castings. Unlike malleable alloys, which can be cold-formed, casting alloys are poured into a mold in their molten form and solidify to take the desired shape of the final product. Casting alloys are characterized by their castability and meltability, making them particularly suitable for the manufacture of complex components through casting processes.
