berAlweld® - aluminium welding wire

Customized solutions for welding aluminium alloys

Innovation is our passion and added value is our aim. Since 1889 - we’ve been offering our customers innovative and sustainable solutions that add business value. Today is no different as we introduce berAlweld® in 2021 - our innovative wire solutions for welding aluminium alloys.

We currently offer our customers a berAlweld® range of nine different aluminium welding alloys. As highly specialized products, our wire solutions for welding aluminium alloys are characterized by their use-specific properties.

Whether you rely on MIG or TIG welding, the comprehensive range of berAlweld® products covers broad application areas for a wide variety of industries such as automotive, construction, chemical, food sectors and shipbuilding.

Advantages of berAlweld® aluminium welding wire

berAlweld® welding wires are built on the foundation of quality, craftsmanship, and development know-how used in our original bercoweld® line of welding products. These new aluminium welding wires deliver good flow behavior and increased corrosion resistance.

berAlweld® impresses with its low sensitivity to hot cracking and enables bright, almost smoke-free welding. Additionally, our aluminium alloy wire solutions meet the highest tensile strength demands required by our customers.

berAlweld® welding wires include several packaging options such as spools (plastic or steel), rods or drums - according to your requirements.

Have you heard about the innovative bedrabox packaging? Thanks to a high filling quantity in combination with a continuous wire run, the practical bedrabox eliminates the need for time-consuming spool changes. Costly production downtimes are significantly reduced. This intelligent packaging solution supports your processes and helps to increase your productivity. Interested? Then please contact us.

Overview of our berAlweld® products

berAlweld® 4043

berAlweld® 4043 is the most common welding alloy in the 4000 series. A major alloying ingredient is silicon, which increases flowability. M4043 reduces sensitivity to hot cracking.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 4047

The high Si content of berAlweld® 4047 reduces the sensitivity to welding cracks and provides higher shear strength during fillet post-welding. The contained silicon brings a bright almost fume-free welding.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5087

berAlweld® 5087 impresses with its excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and is suitable for continuous operation at elevated temperatures up to 80°C. The contained chromium and zirconium reduce the susceptibility to welding cracks.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5183

berAlweld® 5183 impresses with its excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and is suitable for the highest requirements for high tensile strength.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5356

berAlweld® 5356 is the most common welding alloy of the 5000 series and convinces with excellent weldability and weld strength of 250N/mm².

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5554

berAlweld® 5554 impresses with its high corrosion resistance and is suitable for continuous operation at elevated temperatures of 65-160°C.

To the alloy

berAlweld® 5754

berAlweld® 5754 impresses with its high corrosion resistance and very good color match for anodized parts.
