
Characteristics:
This alloy is a high-zinc, two-phase (α+β) brass from the copper-zinc binary system. It exhibits high strength and excellent hot workability, and it can be easily processed by various forming and machining operations. Additionally, it is readily brazed and welded, and it offers good corrosion resistance.
Typical applications:
It is suitable for deep drawing and bending operations used to produce stress-bearing accessories, such as pins, rivets, washers, nuts, conduits, pneumatic gauges, springs, screens, and radiator parts.
