berAlweld® 4047
berAlweld® 4047 is an AlSi filler metal for MIG and TIG welding in various applications
Also available as spray wire in dimensions from 1.60 to 4.00 mm
Features:
- High Si content helps to reduce hot cracks and generate higher shear strength in fillet welding
- Even higher fluidity compared to berAlweld® 4043
- Bright and almost smut free welding
- Not recommended for anodizing
Base Materials:
- Cast alloys with Si content of max. 12%
Applications:
- Automotive parts
- Heat exchangers
- Body panels
- Brazing of aluminium sheets, profiles and castings
