Characteristics:
It is a Cu-Ni-Sn alloy strengthened by spinodal hardening. It achieves superior mechanical and physical properties through a multi-step manufacturing process. It offers excellent electrical conductivity, outstanding corrosion resistance, and effective electromagnetic shielding. Its machinability is excellent, comparable to or exceeding that of C17300 (CuBe2Pb). Additionally, it is free of beryllium, lead, and cadmium, and complies with REACH and RoHS regulations.
Typical applications:
It is an ideal substitute for beryllium copper alloys, such as CuBe2 (C17200) and CuBe2Pb (C17300). It is suitable for applications including testing probes, Pogo Pins, coaxial connectors, and electrical spring contacts. Additionally, it can also be used for micro-components in the watch industry.
