Characteristics:
bedra62300 is a copper-aluminum-iron ternary alloy that achieves higher strength and wear resistance through aluminum solid solution strengthening. Additionally, due to the formation of a dense aluminum oxide protective layer on the alloy surface, it exhibits enhanced high-temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance under atmospheric, freshwater, and seawater conditions. The alloy also offers good spark resistance, excellent hot workability, and can be welded using arc or gas welding methods, although it is not suitable for brazing.
Typical applications:
It is widely used as bolts, nuts, bearing races, bearings, bushings, gears, pump parts, valve guides, valve seats, valve bodies, and marine hardware.
