We currently offer our customers a berAlweld® range of nine different aluminum welding alloys. As highly specialized products, our wire solutions for welding aluminum alloys are characterized by their use-specific properties.

berAlweld® M1070

berAlweld® M1070 is characterized by its high aluminum content of 99.7% and its particularly good flow behavior. Suitable for electrical cables and thermal components.

berAlweld® M1450

berAlweld® M1450 is characterized by its high aluminum content of 95.5% and its particularly good flow behavior. Suitable for electrical cables and thermal components, good resistance to nitro acids.

berAlweld® M4043

berAlweld® M4043 is the most common welding alloy in the 4000 series. A major alloying ingredient is silicon, which increases flowability. M4043 reduces sensitivity to hot cracking.

berAlweld® M4047

The high Si content of berAlweld® M4047 reduces the sensitivity to welding cracks and provides higher shear strength during fillet post-welding. The contained silicon brings a bright almost fume-free welding.

berAlweld® M5087 impresses with its excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and is suitable for continuous operation at elevated temperatures up to 80°C. The contained chromium and zirconium reduce the susceptibility to welding cracks.

berAlweld® M5183 impresses with its excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and is suitable for the highest requirements for high tensile strength.

berAlweld® M5356 is the most common welding alloy of the 5000 series and convinces with excellent weldability and weld strength of 250N/mm².

berAlweld® M5554 impresses with its high corrosion resistance and is suitable for continuous operation at elevated temperatures of 65-160°C.
