Characteristics:
bedra 93900 is a high lead tin bronze alloy. The addition of lead improves the alloy's wear resistance and machinability. It possesses lubricating properties, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in bearing applications.
Typical applications:
It is widely used for general-service bearings under moderate pressure, wear-resistant components such as rod bushings, wedges, and pump impellers. It is also employed in steel-backed automotive and aero-engine bushings that may experience poor lubrication.
