Characteristics:
bedra 52100 is a phosphor bronze alloy consisting of approximately 8% tin. The tin enhances its corrosion resistance and strength, while the phosphorus improves its wear resistance and stiffness. This alloy is typically manufactured in a hard temper, resulting in very high tensile strength that makes it suitable for high-load applications, especially given its excellent fatigue properties. It is commonly used in bearing applications subjected to heavy loads, offering outstanding wear resistance and good bearing performance.
Typical applications:
It is mainly used in high-impact bearing and load-bearing applications that require excellent wear resistance. Additionally, it is employed in electrical connectors and elastic components such as springs and reeds.
