Characteristics:
The primary strengthening mechanism of this alloy is solution strengthening. Its distinctive elemental composition confers excellent machinability and wear resistance. The microstructure comprises α and β phases in an approximately 1:1 ratio, resulting in balanced cold and hot workability.
Typical applications:
Air conditioning nut, sensor slider, carburetor, etc.
