Characteristics:
It is a solid solution strengthened copper alloy containing approximately 6% tin. It has a very good combination of strength and electrical conductivity. The alloy is wear-resistant, exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and industrial atmospheres, and can be readily soldered.
Typical Applications:
It can be used in bearing applications working under medium to high loads and sliding speeds, such as washers, bearings, bushings, and turbine parts. It can also be used as electrical connectors and other elastic parts, such as springs and reeds.
