Characteristics:
It is a type of brass alloy with a two-phase (α+β) microstructure, offering an excellent balance of strength, ductility, and machinability. It can serve as a substitute for conventional lead-containing machining brass when moderate cold formability is required. The alloy is lead-free and complies with the RoHS and ELV directives.
Typical applications:
It is widely used in hardware, machinery, electronic engineering, as well as valve body and plug manufacturing industries
