Characteristics:
This is a wrought Cu-Ni-Si-Cr alloy. Its strength is derived from the strengthening effect of the Ni-Si phase and Chromium, which results in high thermal conductivity. The alloy can be heat-treated to meet the requirements of RWMA Class III. Furthermore, its excellent anti-friction properties and thermal stability enable it to be used effectively as mold components.
Typical applications:
It is widely applied to resistance welding electrode arms, submerged arc welding nozzles, die materials, and connector terminals.
