Thermal conductivity

Thermal conductivity

Thermal conductivity describes a material’s ability to transfer heat energy. It indicates how well a substance conducts heat and whether it is suitable for thermal insulation. The lower the value, the better the insulating effect. Thermal conductivity is measured in watts per meter and kelvin (W/m·K).
