Solidus Temperature

Solidus temperature

The solidus temperature is the temperature at which an alloy is completely solidified. Below this temperature, the material exists exclusively in a solid state. Above the solidus temperature, melting begins, and within the melting range, the material can exist as a mixture of solid and liquid phases.
