Furnace annealing

Furnace annealing is a heat treatment process used to improve the material properties of metals, glass, ceramics, or silicon. The workpiece is slowly heated to a specified temperature in a furnace and then cooled in a controlled manner to relieve stresses, increase ductility, or optimize the microstructure.
