Electrical conductivity

Electrical conductivity

Electrical conductivity (also known as conductance) is a physical property that indicates how well a material conducts electric current. It is measured in Siemens per meter (S/m) and depends on the material composition and temperature. High electrical conductivity is typical for metals such as copper or silver, while insulators like ceramics or plastics have very low conductivity.
