Drawing Die

A drawing die is a tool used in shaping processes, particularly in wire drawing. It is an insert with a tapered opening through which the material is drawn, taking the shape of the die’s opening. This process reduces the diameter of the workpiece and elongates it without material loss. The drawing die is used in multiple steps to reduce the material to the desired diameter.
