Annealing

Annealing is a heat treatment process in which semi-finished products or workpieces are heated to a predefined temperature, held for a specific duration, and then cooled in a controlled manner. The goal of annealing is to modify the material properties, such as hardness, strength, ductility, or toughness, to achieve the desired characteristics. Different annealing processes are applied depending on the targeted properties of the workpiece.
