Due to the expansion of our product portfolio we now combine all our anchor wires under the product family bercobrush. New name. Innovative profiles. Best quality. For decades our patented anchor wire has been anchored in high-quality toothbrushes and fine brushes. High-quality bedra anchor wires are perfectly tailored to your requirement profiles. Our anchor wires are available ungrooved, single-sided grooved, double-sided grooved, with arrow geometry (bercobrush® arrow), with octopus structure (bercobrush® octopus) or as special production. From the melt to the packaged product, we produce our anchor wires completely in-house. All our anchor wires are impressive due to their high tuft retention in toothbrushes and fine brushes.

The demand for toothbrushes made of biologically renewable raw materials to protect the environment has increased significantly in recent years. However, it‘s difficult for existing wire geometries to meet the tuft retention requirements for these new renewable materials. Enter a new anchor wire for bamboo toothbrushes from the market leader bedra: bercobrush® arrow.
bercobrush® octopus – the new anchor wire for plastic toothbrushes
bercobrush® octopus utilizes a new structure, modeled after the suckers on an octopus leg, to dramatically increase tuft retention. This newly structured design is perfect for applications that require enhanced tuft retention or for situations that require equivalent tuft retention in a smaller footprint. Enter bercobrush® octopus, a completely new and innovative approach from bedra, the leader in anchor wire technology.

In our own foundry we can produce more than 100 alloy variants.
Dimensions & tolerances
Smaller wire, bigger effect: reducing wire sizes will save material and thus costs. Therefore our standards are already starting at 1.00 x 0.20 mm. The fact that here minimum format and maximum quality go together is a strong argument in favor of bedra. Closest tolerances, high tensile strength, reproducibility and perfect suitability also for electric toothbrushes are certainly standard. On request we also develop wires to your specific requirements: in your special profiles, with your specific edge designs.

- 1.400 x 0.250 mm
- 1.524 x 0.254 mm
± 0.01 mm thickness (tolerance)

The dimensions for bercobrush® arrow are 2.00 x 0.30 mm and for bercobrush® octopus 1.40 x 0.25 mm.
