Practical environmental protection in the manufacture of all bedra-products is a matter of course. Our Environmental Management was successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 by the Germanischer Lloyd Certification GmbH.
The bedra environmental program is a complex network of:
- Ecological duties
- Economical responsibility
- Technological care
Borne by committed bedra employees, supported by continuous training courses and part of the continuous improvement process throughout the company.
Examples for measures are:
- Resource-saving melt
- Improved emission values
- Energy savings by using efficient process technology
- Water savings and water protection through closed system circuits
bedra electronics:
For us, a strict compliance with the RoHS-directive is a matter of course. All products and process steps are RoHS-compliant. This will be achieved by:
- Abandonment of lead and heavy metals in the alloy production
- Pure tin electrodes as a replacement of lead in electroplating
bedra’s in-house laboratory ensures a continuous and fast control of all process steps – from electroplating through to the final product.
All in all: bedra’s measures for environmental protection are no individual measures. They extend well beyond water, air and soil protection. They bring more operational safety and process stability and ensure our customers a consistently high level of product quality. That is what we understand by "Ecology and technology without opposites".
